I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch no. 127 of the 19th of April last, reporting that the Council had decided to recommend certain increases in the pay of the Police.
Referring to the last paragraph of my despatch no. 183 of the 28th of August last, I request to be informed from what date the increased rates are to commence.
